Founder
Meet the ACE AI Founder.
Eric Dong LinkedInEric Dong is a PhD researcher in Actuarial Science at UNSW, with research interests in machine learning and uncertainty quantification. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours in Actuarial Science and achieved an ATAR of 99.5 in VCE.
Eric has nearly nine years of experience teaching VCE Mathematics and has also served as an actuarial studies tutor at both UNSW and the University of Melbourne. His teaching experience covers financial mathematics, probability and statistics, general insurance, deep learning and AI.
Over the years, Eric has designed systematic course notes, exam-style practice materials, and additional learning resources for VCE Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. He has helped many students achieve outstanding results, including raw scores of 45+ in Year 12 Mathematics subjects.
ACE AI was founded to transform Eric’s years of VCE and university teaching experience into a clearer, more efficient, and more personalised AI-powered learning pathway. Its goal is to help students truly understand key concepts, master exam strategies, and steadily improve their results.
For ACE AI, He will lead the development and quality direction for Maths Methods and Specialist Maths, while continunig to lead the platform backend, frontend, AI-agent tools, and product experience that support those subjects.

Dr. Ken Wei brings more than 18 years of experience across the VCE curriculum, with specialist expertise in Chemistry and Physics coaching. Back in 2003, Ken personally achieved an ATAR score of 99.65 during his second year in Australia.
With over 18 years of experience of dealing within the VCE curriculum, Ken brings a wealth of knowledge to ACE AI. His expertise in his area of specialisation is matched only be his level of professionalism, as students can expect to receive a practical insight into the VCE Exams from this VCAA insider.
Ken is an accredited member of many VCAA academic associations and his close connections with VCAA examiners helps him to achieve standards for excellence. He has produced high-quality learning resources and delivered VCE Physics and Chemistry courses, with a focus on study-design understanding, exam-oriented preparation, and clear explanations.
Ken’s teaching approach emphasises critical thinking, problem solving, inquiry-based learning, and helping students apply scientific concepts to real-world situations.
For ACE AI, Ken will lead the development and quality direction for Physics and Chemistry content.
